Everyone in our parish family is called to discipleship and service through our baptism. The Catholic Community of St. Thomas More is enriched by the presence of those who are active in our many ministries and groups. As you have much to offer St. Thomas More, St. Thomas More has much to offer you for your spiritual development, varied interests and desire to serve, and sense of community. We invite you to help build the kingdom of God and our parish community. We offer many opportunities to serve our faith and local communities in ways that match your interests, your gifts and talents, and your family schedule. Green Knights Bike Drive
A group of STM School students called the Green Knights is holding a Bike Drive the weekend of May 13-14 in the STM Parish parking lot behind the Parish Center. This drive will support the Recyclery, a nonprofit organization based in Carrboro. They teach bike repair and maintenance to community members, specifically those who may not be able to afford bikes or transportation otherwise. The drive helps those in need as well as encourages the community to be more environmentally friendly. After each weekend Mass, parishioners and community members may drop off bicycles of all shapes and sizes in marked areas of the lot beside the Parish Center. All bikes will be accepted regardless of condition and/or age! Tax donation slips will be available to all those to donate. Please set the date on your calendar, clean out your garage, and come out and support the Recyclery. For more information, please email nathanlissy16@gmail. com.
