STM Hires New Music Director

St. Thomas More Welcomes a New Director of Music Ministry!

Fr. Scott McCue, Pastor of The Catholic Community of St. Thomas More, is pleased to announce the hiring of Sarah Franco as Director of Music Ministry effective August 31. Her first weekend playing for parish liturgies will be September 8-9.

Sarah is currently the Music Director at St. Stephen Catholic Church in Winter Springs, Florida.

Sarah holds a Bachelor of Music in Choral Education and a Master of Arts in Teaching Music Education from Trinity University in San Antonio. She has experience as a choral

director, hand bell director, cantor and music educator.

Sarah shares the following message with the St. Thomas More Community:

“I am looking forward to moving to Chapel Hill and becoming a part of the St. Thomas More community. I am excited for the opportunity to get to know and work with the musicians, and grow the ministry. Through the music each weekend, my goal is to continue to support a prayerful and cohesive liturgy for the congregation.”

We look forward to welcoming Sarah into our community and for her leadership in our Music Ministry program.
