Update From Father Pontiano

Father Pontiano Chomba recently sent an update on the parish project in Tanzania:

The water project is doing a great service to the people by providing clean water, which every person in the village appreciates. With support from St. Thomas More, the villagers were able to build a new well, and the drinking water for the village is no longer polluted.

According to Fr. Pontiano, the water level has increased and the water is flowing at a steady speed. People are no longer waiting in a long line for water.

This is only a single source of water, and there are still others to be improved in the future. Father Pontiano and his parishioners want to thank the parishioners of St. Thomas More for all of their support and generosity.
