MEALS ON WHEELS
In light of the spread of COVID-19 and the vulnerable population we serve, our recipients have additional needs during this time. Please consider putting together or sponsoring a CHCMOW Emergency Supply Box. Even if you cannot fill it with all the items (we recognize paper goods are particularly hard to come by these days), you can still make a food box.

ORANGE COUNTY EMERGENCY OPERATIONS
The Orange County Emergency Operations Center (EOC) is requesting donations of non-perishable food to support the COVID-19 response. Many of our community members have temporarily lost jobs and income and need your help. We know our community members want to support this effort, and we have created a safe, no-contact way for you to help.
We are not asking the community to go out to shop for these items, but rather to donate materials that you already have.

MEALS AT COMMUNITY KITCHEN AND HOMESTART & COMMUNITY HOUSE SHELTERS
IFC provides meals for up to 225 people every day. We have some food supply, but it will not be replenished like normal because our regular donations from campus, grocery stores and restaurants are slowing or have stopped. We are working to identify funding to purchase low-cost, bulk meals from some local restaurants that are currently maintaining a skeleton staff. We will freeze these in reserve until needed in order to ensure that we can continue to supply nutritious meals for residents and members.
We welcome individuals and groups who would like to drop off prepared meals for one of our programs. You can drop it off right at the door! Please touch base with staff first to coordinate.
