Mission Statement/Purpose
To enhance the worship spaces by creating an environment which draws in worshipers spiritually through decorations appropriate to each liturgical season.
Major Activity
The majority of decorating activity for the sanctuary and other areas of the church and chapel takes place at two key times during the liturgical year—from the beginning of Advent through Christmas and at the beginning of Lent through Palm Sunday, Holy Week and Easter. Also, twice weekly, members of the committee water and care for the plants in the church and chapel as well as water and care for the new cutting garden located behind the St. Monica Room.
Major Accomplishments 2023-2024
Our major project last year was replanting all the plants in the hallway by Friends and Family. We also manage all the liturgical transitions in both the church and chapel.
