What is Middle School Youth Ministry (MSYM)?
MSYM is a growing and vibrant Catholic youth program specifically tailored for youth in grades 6 through 8 who attend any of the area public or private schools. Currently, over 120 youth participate in the program from over 8 area middle schools. The ministry emphasizes the building of a Christ-centered foundation using strong Catholic principles to meet the goal of evangelizing young adolescents while supporting them in their walk with Jesus.
Where and when does the group meet?
MSYM (grades 6 to 8) meet in the St. Thomas More Elementary School on Sunday evenings from 6pm-7:15pm. The 2024-2025 Faith Development program begins on September 29, 2024. Our regular MSYM season meets, on average, three times a month.

However you plan to participate, we welcome and appreciate your time. We promise you will get more out of it than expected!
Will my child be bored?
NO! Learning about Jesus has never been more fun or engaging! Middle School youth have reached an age where they want more than just “Sunday School.” These youth have a need and desire to spend time together in a safe place where they can be themselves. MSYM provides numerous outlets for fun and socializing in addition to spiritual formation. Youth may select from a side array of social activities. These events are scheduled at various times and places. When you register your youth, you will be given an events calendar. Keep it nearby or on the fridge.
