Volunteers pray, read or sit in silence in the presence of a columbarium niche whenever it is open for ceremony or procedure.

To protect the sanctity of those interred in the Columbarium when it is opened for ceremony or procedure.

Gethsemane Ministers pray, read, write, or sit in silence while keeping watch over an open niche.

Meeting Venue
The St. Thomas More Columbarium (outdoors, between the church and Friends and Family Hall.)

Estimated Time Commitment for Volunteers
Ministers are typically needed twice a year for one hour to watch over the open niches during engraving. Engravings generally occur in March and October.

Special Skills
A willingness to spend time outdoors in quiet prayer.
