The St. Thomas More/UNC-Newman Spiritual Direction Ministry is offering two small group opportunities to experience the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius Loyola, adapted for daily life. Both will meet in-person; one is open to all adults and the other is for men only. Participants will be invited into a brief discernment process to consider their readiness to benefit from the Spiritual Exercises.
What: The Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius Loyola are a means of opening ourselves to the presence of God toward better discernment of God’s will for us and our work in this world. St. Ignatius offers meditations, prayers and other contemplative practices, as invitations to deepen our relationship with God.
When: The men’s group will meet on Saturdays, 8:30-10:30 a.m., Sept. 14, 2024 – May 10, 2025. It is now full.
The mixed group of five people will meet on Wednesdays from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm, October 9, 2024- May 21, 2025. This group is now full.
Both groups will take holiday breaks, which will be announced.
