Who Influenced/Inspired you to Priesthood: I was 9 years old when my father died and my grandmother took over my care. She taught me how to pray the Rosary and how lovely the Mother of God is. At 17, I met a seminarian who was a missionary; he told me about the vocation to priesthood and that one can discover God’s will through prayer.
What would you say to a young man who thinks he may have a vocation: Spend time with God in prayer; tell Him about the desires in your heart and pray that you will know His Divine will for you. Take time to learn about what the vocation to priesthood entails and about the lives of the saints. It is useful and good to discern. Also, visit Our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament at your local Church or Cathedral and pray there.
