Parish Engagement Coordinator

BethAnn Good joined the STM staff in July of 2023 in the newly created position of Parish Engagement Coordintor (formerly Facilitator of Lay Ministry). In this position, BethAnn facilitates the engagement of parishioners in the life of the parish community, especially in the areas of discipleship and stewardship. In particular, helps the laity to discover the means to live out the priesthood of the baptized as lay ministers in the parish. BethAnn oversees the welcoming process for new parishioners, volunteer and stewardship events and also manage the annual “Be Intentional” appeal.

BethAnn holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Boston College and a Master of Arts in Theology from Saint Leo University.

BethAnn worked early in her professional life as a Staff Auditor for the American Cyanamid Company in Wayne, NJ, as a Cost Analyst for Holy Cross Medical Center in Mission Hills, CA and later as a Design Consultant for Interiors by Moyanne in Lynchburg, VA. BethAnn transitioned into working for the Catholic Church in 2001, having served as Coordinator of Religious Education at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Lynchburg, VA. In 2009, BethAnn was appointed as the Business Manager at Holy Cross where she served until 2021 when she and her husband, Tom, moved to Chapel Hill.
