CandidateCameron Christopher Peterson is originally from Chapel Hill, North Carolina and works part-time as a doordash driver while also in the process of college registration. He was baptized in the Episcopalian faith, while being raised largely in the Methodist tradition. Cameron became drawn to the Catholic faith after experiencing the power of the Holy Spirit while in the hospital and afterwards, and discussing these experiences with a friend who is Catholic. He learned of the RCIA process through the parish website during this discernment period. As someone who is interested by history, he is very intrigued by the history of the Church, as well as its Saints, which are something that was not part of his prior faith background and he hopes can be an example for his own life.
