Erik Townsend

Erik D. Townsend is originally from Portsmouth VA and has been living in Chapel Hill since May 2000. He currently serves as VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) & Email Administrator/Help Desk Supervisor at Durham Technical Community College. Erik's faith background is Congregational. His inspiration in discerning the Catholic faith comes from his wife, Nuria, and that they are raising their daughter Catholic. Erik has been actively attending St. Thomas More since 2003-04. He noted that several times a year RCIA participates are called to the front of the church during Mass, and he read about RCIA in the weekly bulletin. Erik is most interested in the Catholic faith because of the community and fellowship that he sees among all the members. He has always enjoyed the Catholic Mass.
