Saint Meinrad Archabbey

 Fr. Adrian Burke, O.S.B. was ordained a priest in 1997 and has been a Benedictine monk of Saint Meinrad Archabbey since 1992. He earned a BS-Marketing (’86) from the Kelley School at Indiana University, and attended St. Meinrad Seminary and School of Theology, MA (’93) and MDiv (‘97). In 2003 he earned an STL in spiritual theology from The Angelicum.  

Fr. Adrian worked in parish ministry for the Archdiocese of Indianapolis from 1997-2000 as parochial vicar for three parishes and from 2004-2009 as pastor for the same three parishes. He also served as dean for the local archdiocesan deanery. In 2009, Fr. Adrian was appointed assistant business manager/treasurer for St. Meinrad Archabbey, and from 2010-2012 served as business manager and treasurer for the Archabbey and Seminary corporations.

Since 2012, Fr. Adrian has been presenting workshops in spirituality in our seminary and graduate programs, enjoys a thriving retreat ministry, and serves as a spiritual director for seminarians, monks, diocesan clergy, and laity.
